Support for your mental health and wellbeing
Our GPs have undertaken additional mental health skills training and provide evidence-based care guided by the latest clinical guidelines and information.
We understand that talking about your mental health isn’t always easy. Our GPs provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about what you’re experiencing.
We can support you with concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, sleep difficulties, low mood and other mental health concerns, and help guide you through particularly difficult or stressful times.
Mental Health Care Plans
If you are experiencing a mental health condition, your GP may recommend a Mental Health Care Plan.
A Mental Health Care Plan can help you:
- Understand and manage your mental health
- Set personalised treatment and wellbeing goals
- Develop a treatment plan with your GP
- Access Medicare rebates for up to 10 eligible sessions with mental health professionals, such as psychologists and social workers
- Coordinate your care and review your progress over time
Your GP will discuss your individual circumstances and whether a Mental Health Treatment Plan is appropriate for you.
You’re not alone
Whether you’re going through a difficult period, struggling with ongoing anxiety or low mood, or simply don’t feel like yourself, you don’t have to work through it alone.
Our GPs can listen, provide support and help connect you with the appropriate care.
