Regular cervical screening (formerly known as a pap smear) is an important part of looking after your health and can help detect HPV and early changes to cervical cells before they develop into cervical cancer.

Our GPs provide confidential, respectful cervical screening and can talk you through the process, answer any questions and help you understand your results.

Our GPs can assist with:

• Cervical screening tests
• HPV testing
• Self-collection using a take-home cervical screening kit
• Follow-up of previous abnormal results
• Discussing cervical screening results
• Assessment of symptoms or concerns
• Referrals for further investigation or specialist care when required
• Contraception and reproductive health advice

If you’re due for your cervical screening test, you can book an appointment with one of our GPs. We can discuss your screening options, including self-collection with a take-home kit where appropriate.

We also have Clinipath Pathology onsite, making it convenient to complete pathology testing when required.
